Teams at Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT)

Develop, refactor, and modernize mission-critical Navy tactical software into a microservices-based, cloud-native and edge-capable architecture. Design, implement, and test code in C/C++/Python/JavaScript/Java; perform technical assessments of legacy systems; collaborate with customers and cross-site teams; support lab and government test integration; apply DevSecOps, Agile practices, and software architecture principles.

Design, refactor, and test mission-critical Navy tactical software into a modern microservices and cloud-native stack. Work on legacy code modernization, prototype AI/ML solutions, integrate components, support lab and field testing, elicit requirements, participate in architecture and code reviews, and follow DevSecOps and Agile practices to deliver production-ready tactical systems.

Leads a technical team designing, architecting, integrating, deploying, testing, and operating complex software and hardware systems for DoD and Navy missions. Translates stakeholder requirements into solutions, manages program quality, cost, schedules, and resources, troubleshoots advanced system and network issues, leads field test execution, and collaborates with warfighters, test directors, and government sponsors. Requires active Secret clearance, on-site work in San Diego, and travel up to 25%.
