Develop embedded C/C++ software for satellite avionics and payload processing systems. Configure Linux kernels and bootloaders, implement secure communications and cryptographic functionality, and integrate sensors, buses, radios, FPGAs, and multi-core processors. Translate requirements into tested flight software, support hardware/software integration, troubleshoot issues, and present technical progress. The role requires collaboration across engineering teams and experience with aerospace or defense systems and security-conscious development.

Design and develop digital modulators, tactical and satellite communication waveforms, and high-performance digital modems. Implement designs using FPGAs, SoCs, ADCs, DACs, and embedded processors; conduct simulation, hardware bring-up, RF testing, validation, and performance optimization. Collaborate with RF, embedded software, and systems engineers, document designs, apply Agile methods, and develop innovative solutions for mission-critical communications.

Supports systems engineering for complex aerospace and space systems. Responsibilities include requirements development and traceability, architecture and design support, system integration and testing, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and technical documentation. Collaborates with software, firmware, electrical, mechanical, network, and systems engineers to translate customer needs into technical solutions while considering schedule and cost constraints.
