Designs, delivers, and evaluates clinical training, new entrant programmes, continuing professional development, and workforce capability initiatives. Facilitates classroom, virtual, and blended learning; translates complex clinical and policy information into accessible content; coaches learners and trainers; maintains learning resources and records; evaluates outcomes using feedback and performance data; and supports continuous improvement while maintaining professional registration and subject knowledge.

Conduct functional assessments for claimants by reviewing evidence, triaging cases, interviewing individuals and healthcare stakeholders, completing paper-based assessments, and producing accurate detailed reports. The role requires applying clinical expertise, critical thinking, communication, and computer skills while completing paid training toward DWP accreditation.

Conduct face-to-face, video, and telephone functional assessments for claimants, evaluating their ability to perform daily activities. Gather information through focused questioning, active listening, and clinical reasoning, then prepare structured reports for the DWP. The role uses existing clinical expertise while requiring formal training, ongoing feedback, technology proficiency, and DWP accreditation. It is primarily remote but requires working at designated sites for 25% or 40% of the role.
