Responsibilities include control algorithms, PLC/DCS/SCADA configuration, hardware and software integration, technical documentation, performance analysis, compliance, customer-site support, and guidance for engineers and technicians. The role requires collaboration with electrical, software, quality assurance, and project management teams, along with approximately 30% travel to manufacturing facilities.

Lead complex industrial automation and systems integration projects from inception through commissioning. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, subcontractors, installations, and stakeholder communications across engineering, construction, client, and government teams. Oversee Rockwell automation environments, laboratory environmental controls, biosafety containment systems, electrical and pneumatic installations, networking, and vendor system integrations. Drive technical delivery, issue resolution, process improvement, quality, and continuous improvement while traveling approximately 40% to customer sites.

Lead design, development, and integration of PLC/SCADA-based control systems for building and lab automation (including BSL labs). Mentor engineers, design control hardware/software, integrate DDC/JACE systems, support Rockwell FactoryTalk platforms and SIL2 I/O, specify instrumentation, perform testing/troubleshooting, and coordinate vendor system integrations and installations.

Own customer relationships for managed services accounts, ensure service commitments and renewals, coordinate incident response and RCA processes, manage resource planning and reporting, conduct customer reviews, and drive continuous improvement and upsell opportunities while mentoring team members and maintaining support documentation and runbooks.
