The VP, Finance will lead and build Inertia’s finance function, owning financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, capital planning, cash flow, treasury, accounting, reporting, controls, audits, and tax oversight. The role partners with executives and cross-functional teams on strategic decisions, hiring, capital expenditures, vendors, and fundraising. This hands-on leader will establish scalable systems, processes, reporting rhythms, and finance technology for a growing fusion-energy company.

Lead supplier feasibility assessments and vendor engagement, document design requirements, oversee pilot production and scale-up, establish manufacturing best practices, implement production quality control with quality engineering, and perform yield and failure analysis to ramp optics manufacturing to production volumes.
