Performs winding and rewinding processes for AC/DC motors, including fields, armatures, rotors, equalizers, and stators. Reads job cards and winding data, installs armature banding, conducts electrical and stator core loss tests, restores stator irons, and works with various coil types. Dips and bakes stators, cures varnish in bake ovens, follows safety procedures, maintains an organized work area, and supports additional production duties as assigned.

Operate manual mills, lathes, boring mills, grinders, and related tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. Perform drilling, tapping, boring, welding, metal spraying, broaching, bearing work, and precision finishing. Accurately measure and record dimensions, follow safety procedures, handle heavy components, and support other machinists and shop departments.

Develop technical and commercial proposals for power generation, controls, distribution, and automation solutions. Design and specify electrical systems, perform load calculations and motor sizing, interpret drawings, and ensure code compliance. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and specifications, support sales and project teams, conduct customer site visits, present solutions, and provide technical guidance. The role also supports business development, product standardization, competitive analysis, project handoffs, and mentoring junior engineers.
