Coordinates advancement programs, events, communications, and projects supporting the Bloomington development team and IU fundraising community. Supports Parent & Family Giving and Hoosier Family Fellows, provides advancement support to schools and units, prepares donor briefings for senior campus leaders, manages deadlines and competing priorities, and communicates proactively across teams. The role requires polished writing, strong organization, discretion with confidential information, and occasional evening and weekend work.

Leads fundraising and development for Herron School of Art + Design by managing major and principal gift strategies, cultivating donor relationships, identifying new prospects, preparing complex proposals, and overseeing stewardship. Partners with the dean, faculty, academic leaders, advisory board, and university stakeholders to expand philanthropic support. Manages the Development Coordinator, uses fundraising data to guide goals and performance, and builds inclusive, collaborative advancement practices.

Own full-cycle recruiting from job opening through offer, partnering with hiring leaders to define needs, develop recruitment strategies, write postings, source and engage candidates, guide interviews, and close offers. Build trusted relationships with candidates and stakeholders while recruiting across diverse roles. Maintain confidentiality, apply sound hiring practices, communicate the IU Foundation’s mission, and manage multiple searches simultaneously in a collaborative hybrid environment.
