Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient care. Perform scrub and circulating duties, administer medications/blood/products, maintain equipment and environment, collaborate with the surgical team, instruct patients/families, participate in quality improvement, act as preceptor, and comply with hospital policies and safety standards.

Provide direct patient care under an RN preceptor on a medical-surgical unit: assess, plan, perform nursing interventions, document care, assist with ADLs and mobility, support infection control and patient comfort, communicate with the healthcare team, and maintain a safe environment.

Provides ED-focused nursing case management: assesses, plans, coordinates and documents care and discharges; manages transitions to reduce readmissions; applies InterQual criteria; connects patients to community resources; provides crisis management and multidisciplinary communication; maintains licensure and compliance with required clearances.
