Hands-on full stack role building scalable, fault-tolerant backend services, distributed storage/indexing/query systems, and cloud infrastructure. Translate ambiguous problems into concrete solutions, work across backend, data, and cloud layers, collaborate in agile sprints, and deliver iterative production software.

Own and operate backend streaming services using Apache Flink and Apache Kudu on AWS. Build and maintain ETL pipelines, manage workloads on Kubernetes (EKS), design runbooks, alerting, failure recovery, and capacity planning. Perform monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, and reliability improvements while collaborating to harden open-source infrastructure. 12-month onsite contract in Redmond, WA; US work authorization required; heavy operational/on-call responsibilities.

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python/FastAPI and ReactJS. Build RESTful APIs, manage PostgreSQL schemas and migrations, containerize with Docker, and deploy/monitor applications on AWS. Participate in Agile ceremonies, write automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for a federal program.
