Processes commercial insurance transactions, including new business, quotations, renewals, amendments, and cancellations. Provides customer service and communicates with agents and internal teams to clarify information, obtain reports, and support underwriting staff. Maintains correspondence and organized files while using rating and policy issuance systems. The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and basic underwriting knowledge.

Manage a high-volume portfolio of complex workers’ compensation claims, including severe injuries, occupational diseases, litigation, and multi-party cases. Set and adjust claim reserves, negotiate settlements, coordinate with legal and medical professionals, oversee vendors, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop cost-containment strategies. Mentor junior specialists, improve claims processes, support safety and return-to-work programs, and present performance insights and recommendations to management.

Processes direct bill payments, cash deposits, accounts receivable postings, premium reconciliations, claim drafts, vendor invoices, accounts payable workflows, and EFT requests. Maintains policyholder accounts, resolves billing issues with underwriters, agents, and policyholders, prepares daily accounting reports, and corrects payment variances. Requires accuracy, communication, problem-solving, math, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
