Provides administrative and operational support for the Gardeners’ World team, including diary and calendar management, inbox and customer service coordination, events, travel bookings, expenses, purchase orders, invoices, competitions, archives, office resources, and basic content uploads. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, communication, customer service, confidentiality, Microsoft Office proficiency, and an interest in gardening or lifestyle content.

Manage group financial reporting, revenue recognition, balance sheet controls, month-end postings, audits, statutory accounts support, and technical accounting guidance. Lead one direct report, improve reconciliation processes, coordinate audit requests, resolve accounting queries, and provide financial analysis to senior leadership. The role also supports process improvements and ad hoc finance projects within a commercial publishing and digital media organization.

Own and execute paid search strategy for print and digital subscription acquisition across multiple consumer brands. Build, optimize, and measure Google Ads campaigns against volume, spend, CPA, CAC, and LTV targets; test additional PPC channels; develop incrementality measurement models; and collaborate with acquisition, brand, design, and editorial teams. Stay current with Google Ads innovations, AI-powered audiences, automated bidding, and campaign formats while driving channel growth and efficiency.
