Provides hospice nursing case management, including patient evaluations and admissions, medication and treatment administration, comprehensive assessments, care-plan development, patient and family education, documentation, scheduled visits, physician communication, and participation in interdisciplinary case conferences. Ensures care complies with Medicare eligibility requirements, hospice policies, physician orders, and accepted nursing standards.

Directs hospice operations, administration, finances, quality assurance, staffing, regulatory compliance, marketing, fundraising, and community relations. Oversees documentation, budgeting, personnel training, program evaluation, patient rights, and collaboration with the Medical Director. Prepares reports and supports long-range planning for the Governing Board while ensuring compassionate, compliant hospice care.

The Financial Controller oversees accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. The role develops budgets and forecasts, maintains financial controls and systems, ensures regulatory compliance, coordinates tax returns with the CPA, and prepares cost reports. The Controller supervises finance staff and collaborates with management, operations, ownership, and IT, with potential advancement to CFO within five years.
