Leads agency-wide data governance and compliance programs, including governance frameworks, classification rules, metadata standards, stewardship models, retention controls, audit readiness, and NIST-aligned data handling. Supervises analysts and technical staff, coordinates with cybersecurity and business teams, establishes data quality measures, and advises enterprise projects on secure data design. The role also evaluates governance tools, supports compliance automation, and contributes to Azure-based data initiatives.

Manages the Secretary of State’s Revenue Reporting and Fund Management activities, including revenue recording, fund allocation, reconciliations, financial reporting, fee and escheat submissions, policies, budgeting, audits, and liaison duties with state agencies. Supervises staff, evaluates performance, directs workflow, resolves accounting and reporting issues, trains employees, and recommends system and process improvements.

Coordinates the Secretary of State’s workers’ compensation program, managing injury and illness claims, records, leave decisions, return-to-work arrangements, OSHA reporting, medical billing, and communications with employees, departments, third-party administrators, attorneys, medical providers, and risk management personnel. Maintains claims databases and files, monitors compliance and payments, supports hearings and litigation, and ensures proper retention or destruction of records.
