Develop and implement complex numerical algorithms and medium-scale scientific, engineering, or simulation software using C++. Collaborate remotely with teams in the GMT time zone while communicating fluently in Russian and English. Preferred experience includes petroleum engineering, oil and gas applications, optimization, physics-based modeling, modern C++ standards, software architecture, and Java.

Owns end-to-end Microsoft Fabric and Power BI architecture, from Oracle and JD Edwards ingestion through Lakehouse, Warehouse, semantic models, governance, and certified data products. Designs and builds Fabric pipelines, Spark notebooks, Delta optimizations, enterprise Power BI models, security, CI/CD, capacity management, and monitoring. Establishes architecture standards, reviews code, optimizes performance and costs, and mentors engineering, BI, and analytics teams.

Develop, deploy, and test cloud-native microservices on an established MSP using Java, Node.js, and/or Python. Build RESTful APIs, containerize services (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm), implement CI/CD and GitOps, ensure security (OAuth2/JWT, Keycloak), add observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, APM), work with AWS/Azure, author API tests (Postman), and validate AI-generated code. Collaborate on integration, functional, unit, and performance testing.
