Backend Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling secure, reliable platform services. The role involves collaborating with engineering, product, data science, design, and DevOps teams; defining API and development standards; improving CI/CD and code quality; solving complex architecture and performance challenges; and supporting AI-enabled backend functionality.

Manage relationships and negotiations with insurance providers, including product offerings, rates, coverage terms, agreements, and SLAs. Coordinate with internal teams to develop and launch digital insurance products, monitor market and regulatory trends, streamline delivery workflows, and report partnership and product progress to leadership.

Owns partnership growth in the Philippines, including enterprise partner acquisition, complex deal structuring, negotiations, contracting, launch, and account expansion. Leads Business Development and Account Management team members, manages pipeline and revenue priorities, and builds senior relationships across financial services and digital platforms. Collaborates with Product, Operations, Underwriting, and regional teams to develop embedded insurance partnerships, improve partner performance, and scale successful models.
