Plans, delivers, and reports on risk-based internal audits covering governance, risk management, and controls. The role identifies risks, evaluates controls, prepares evidence-based reports, follows up on management actions, and supports investigations, advisory work, audit planning, and Audit & Risk Committee reporting. It also requires stakeholder engagement, occasional deputizing for the Internal Audit Director, and collaboration across operational and technical leadership teams.

Lead and support IASB financial instruments projects, including the IFRS 17 post-implementation review. Conduct technical accounting research, consult stakeholders, develop proposals, draft Board and due process documents, manage committees and project administration, address risks and political issues, and coach staff. The role requires authoritative application of IFRS Standards, especially IFRS 9, IAS 32, and IFRS 17, to complex financial instruments and insurance contracts.

Provide legal support across commercial contracting, intellectual property protection, corporate matters and compliance. Draft and negotiate agreements, manage the IP portfolio, instruct external counsel, conduct legal research, advise on data protection and regulatory issues, and support legal team processes and objectives during a 12-month fixed-term period.
