Own the strategy and roadmap for idealo’s central AI platform. Prioritize and deliver reusable AI services and APIs involving LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, evaluation, and agentic AI. Define KPIs, improve developer experience, and partner with engineering, security, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, governance, data protection, and cost efficiency.

Leads a 50-person Catalogue engineering organization across seven teams through Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders. Owns delivery, quality, architecture, performance, predictability, automation, and technical strategy. Partners with Product and senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into roadmaps, manage dependencies, and improve engineering outcomes. Drives organizational transformation, AI-enabled engineering, cloud-native practices, and distributed-systems strategy while developing high-performing engineering leadership.

Develop and evolve idealo’s native iOS e-commerce applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, analysts, Android engineers, and backend teams to deliver and operate products at scale. Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, make pragmatic technical decisions, improve user interfaces, and produce readable, reliable, maintainable, and testable code in an autonomous agile team.
