Analyzes compensation for new and existing roles, promotions, and pay actions using internal and external market data. Conducts job audits, evaluates FLSA exemption status, reviews job descriptions, maintains salary structures, and develops compensation recommendations. Advises managers and HR partners on classification, pay practices, regulations, career progression, and internal equity. Supports compensation policy development, HR technology improvements, reporting, documentation, audits, and workforce planning.

Leads multidisciplinary teams executing nuclear fuel and materials irradiation experiments from design through post-irradiation examination. Manages scope, budgets, schedules, risks, technical milestones, quality, regulatory coordination, engineering deliverables, partner relationships, and experiment execution plans. Represents the laboratory in national and international discussions and coordinates scientists, engineers, and support functions across complex nuclear research programs.

Conduct physical metallurgy research on advanced metallic materials, focusing on relationships among manufacturing processes, microstructure, and mechanical properties. Plan experiments, perform SEM, TEM, EBSD, EDS, and other characterization, conduct mechanical testing, use Thermo-Calc, analyze data, and publish findings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop research proposals, prepare technical reports and presentations, and maintain laboratory safety and scientific integrity.
