Handles moderate to highly complex workers’ compensation claims from investigation through resolution. Responsibilities include evaluating exposure, managing reserves and benefits, negotiating settlements, directing defense counsel, monitoring litigation costs, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing status reports, and developing resolution strategies for complex medical, litigated, fatality, permanent total disability, and long-duration claims. The role also mentors less experienced examiners and provides technical guidance.

Processes new insurance injury claims as the first customer contact. Responsibilities include receiving claim documentation, entering reports into ERP and claim systems, reviewing policy information, assessing injury severity, maintaining records, responding to insureds and agents, obtaining missing information, directing inquiries, and supporting claims examiners with administrative tasks.

Provides administrative support to the Claims department by handling customer calls and inquiries, claim notices, vendor W9 forms, medical bill reviews, payments, email requests, and claim information. Supports branch office operations through reception, mail and package management, supply ordering, conference room setup, and maintenance of office equipment. Uses Microsoft Office and multiple databases while maintaining accurate data entry and timely communication.
