Lead requirements discovery, process analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and solution definition for a cloud-native, event-driven federal initiative. Produce requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test scenarios. Coordinate with product, architecture, engineering, QA, integration, and DevSecOps teams; plan UAT, documentation, change readiness, and mentor junior analysts to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Support RMF and ATO activities for VA cloud platforms: implement NIST controls, maintain SSP/POA&Ms and assessment artifacts, perform continuous monitoring and vulnerability tracking, integrate security scanning into CI/CD, review AWS and Kubernetes security, assist incident response, and collaborate with cloud, DevSecOps, and SRE teams while developing RMF and cloud security skills.

Design and implement secure, fault-tolerant event-driven architectures and integrations using Java and Apache Kafka. Lead cloud-native microservices and containerized deployments on AWS GovCloud/EKS, define message schemas and routing, produce technical specifications, enforce security and coding standards (HIPAA, NIST), mentor developers, and partner with SRE/Cloud teams to ensure resilient, monitored platform operations.
