Designs, builds, and operates scalable batch and streaming data pipelines on Databricks for federal missions. Responsibilities include developing Spark and Delta Lake solutions, managing clusters and workflows, implementing Unity Catalog governance and security, optimizing ETL/ELT processes, integrating CI/CD, supporting machine learning and advanced analytics, monitoring data quality, and collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

Develop and deploy interactive data and AI applications on Databricks Apps. Build React and TypeScript/JavaScript interfaces, integrate Databricks data, analytics, APIs, and model-serving endpoints, and create lightweight Python or Node.js backend services. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to prototype user workflows, implement governance and security controls, and deliver production-ready applications. Responsibilities also include CI/CD, Git-based development, documentation, Agile collaboration, and translating stakeholder needs into application features.

Lead the architecture and development of Power Apps and enterprise-scale Power BI solutions for federal customers. Build interfaces, data models, dashboards, integrations, security controls, and accessibility-compliant applications. Manage gateways, refresh strategies, performance optimization, data quality, source control, deployments, and technical documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment, support security and ATO activities, lead requirements and design reviews, and mentor developers and analysts.
