Operate and improve highly available network infrastructure, including switching, routing, and firewalls. Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, participate in on-call support, and lead postmortems. Build automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Python, Go, and related tools. Improve network reliability, performance, security, and deployment processes while partnering with engineering and LiveOps teams.

Owns the availability, scalability, performance, security, and reliability of global MariaDB/MySQL database platforms. Designs highly available clusters, automates provisioning and maintenance with Infrastructure as Code, manages Linux and Kubernetes environments, integrates database changes into CI/CD pipelines, and builds monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana. Supports backups, recovery, replication, failover, incident response, performance tuning, and collaboration with platform and application teams.

Build and own Go-based backend services, APIs, data migrations, ETL pipelines, billing logic, and integrations across ERP, CRM, payment, and inventory systems. Design data models, enforce validation and reconciliation, automate migration tooling, and improve observability and incident response. Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Business Analysts while contributing to architecture, code reviews, and mentoring. The hybrid role requires onsite work in Rotterdam and a valid EU work permit.
