Short-term (3-6 month) R&D internship to develop and validate hyperspectral imaging algorithms and low-latency image processing tools, design and integrate intraoperative imaging systems, and execute validation tests using phantom models, ex-vivo and in-vivo experiments supporting a regulatory-cleared surgical imaging platform.

Act as the company's first full-time in-house lawyer, owning company secretarial duties, advising board and management, supporting fundraising, negotiating commercial and employment contracts, managing external counsel, overseeing compliance (data protection, medtech regulation), supporting international expansion and IP strategy, and building scalable legal processes.

Develop and validate real-time computational and ML methods for hyperspectral surgical imaging, including image reconstruction, deep-learning tissue estimation, semantic segmentation, and stereo reconstruction; integrate R&D into prototype and clinical software, and contribute to publications and patents.

Design, train, evaluate, and productionize ML models for hyperspectral surgical imaging; build reproducible data pipelines and MLOps infrastructure (versioning, monitoring, drift detection, rollback); ensure dataset governance and regulatory-ready model lifecycle; mentor junior staff; collaborate with research, software, clinical, and regulatory teams.

Develop, validate, and deploy surgical imaging systems: perform optical and spectral characterisation, automate benchtop data acquisition, maintain calibration cycles for clinical systems, troubleshoot field issues, and produce documentation supporting regulatory submissions.
