Lead development and management of technical policies, standards, specifications, and training for the distribution system. Supervise engineering and technical staff, provide technical guidance for design and construction, ensure compliance with codes and Ontario Regulation 22/04, support audits, conduct technical studies and failure analyses, deliver training, develop Engineers in Training, and lead projects and financial/business case analysis.

Design, develop, implement and evaluate training programs and digital learning experiences. Conduct needs analysis with SMEs, create learning objectives, storyboards, e-learning modules, job aids and assessments, manage external partners and maintain training materials. Recommend improvements and ensure compliance with safety, legislative and regulatory requirements.

Develop, maintain, and administer technical standards, specifications, procedures, and training for the distribution system. Review and approve technical deviations and complex project designs, provide technical guidance to internal teams and external committees, investigate equipment failures, inspect field installations, support safety and regulatory programs, represent the utility on industry committees, and lead special projects and training related to distribution system standards.
