Teams at Huntsville Botanical Garden

Develops and administers the botanical garden’s GIS environment, integrating spatial, biological, collections, infrastructure, and field data. Conducts conservation and planning analyses, creates maps, dashboards, web applications, and decision-support products, and ensures data quality and documentation. Coordinates field data collection, trains staff and volunteers, troubleshoots GIS workflows, and collaborates with conservation, research, university, and agency partners. The role includes indoor office work, outdoor fieldwork, occasional travel, and supervision of GIS volunteers and interns.
