Teams at Hume City Council

Deliver and administer municipal infrastructure projects including upgrades, refurbishments and new builds. Manage procurement, tender evaluation, contract administration, contractor supervision, project scheduling, financial and progress reporting, stakeholder engagement, technical reviews, risk assessments and environmental/sustainability improvements.

Provide specialist end-to-end procurement advice and support for works, goods and services. Facilitate tenders and contracts, manage multiple complex procurement tasks and projects, collaborate with councils and partners, support category management and sustainability initiatives, ensure compliance, and report on portfolio progress.

Provide practical, in-person safety advice and coaching across Council business areas. Lead safety portfolios (psychosocial risk, incident investigation, hazardous substances, emergency management), develop targeted training, produce safety reporting, coach Safety Advisors, and work with stakeholders to implement safety and wellbeing improvements.
