Leads Human Rights Watch’s U.S. foreign policy and national security advocacy, developing strategies, influencing policymakers, coordinating media and international advocacy efforts, analyzing political developments, cultivating civil society and donor relationships, and representing the organization publicly. The role supervises an Advocacy Coordinator and requires extensive policy advocacy, human rights expertise, government engagement, communication, strategic judgment, and management experience.
