Leads an 18-month project replacing the Independent Living Alarm Response Centre system. Responsibilities include project planning and implementation, change management, supplier and contract management, ICT liaison, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, benefits realization, transition management, governance reporting, and embedding new ways of working. The role researches best practice, ensures regulatory compliance, supports continuous improvement, and may matrix-manage project teams and mentor colleagues.

Operates vehicles up to 7.5 tons and various street-cleaning, horticultural, and grounds-maintenance equipment. Duties include mechanical and manual sweeping, litter-bin emptying, graffiti and fly-posting removal, weed and chewing-gum removal, street washing, grass cutting, pruning, hedge trimming, herbicide application, hand gritting, reporting infrastructure issues, supporting environmental-nuisance enforcement, and responding to customer enquiries. The role follows a permanent 4-on, 4-off night-shift pattern.

Supports a caseload of clients, particularly young people eligible for targeted employment and enterprise programmes. Advises clients, develops action plans, identifies support needs, assists with funding applications, and delivers employment skills workshops. Builds relationships with partners, companies, and support agencies; promotes programme activities through meetings and events; maintains accurate client records, budgets, monitoring systems, and reports for funders and stakeholders.
