Supports council accounting, including capital and revenue budgeting, treasury management, cashflow and liquidity monitoring, reconciliations, financial reporting, audits, tax submissions, and annual Statement of Accounts production. Provides financial guidance, interprets legislation, maintains financial controls, supports statutory returns, and improves accounting systems and processes. The role requires strong Excel and data analysis skills, collaboration with auditors and council stakeholders, and assistance with team development.

Provides clerical and administrative support for Hull City Council’s Changing Futures Service and Hub. Responsibilities include coordinating multi-agency meetings, managing diaries, preparing documents, taking minutes, maintaining confidential records, handling client and partner enquiries, collating information, supporting projects and databases, and processing financial transactions, orders, invoices, and grant claims. The role also promotes safeguarding, effective communication, compliance, and accurate reporting for vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.

Leads children’s social care delivery across multiple teams and specialisms, overseeing practice quality, safeguarding, workflow, case decisions, performance, supervision, staffing, complaints, partnerships, and inspection readiness. The role manages Team and Homes Managers, supports social care reforms, chairs specialist panels, analyzes service demand and performance data, and promotes child-centered, reflective practice to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
