Manage all HR functions for a manufacturing facility, including employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, safety, security, compliance, communications, and personnel records. Oversee HR policies, EEO/AAP programs, employee training, and site security requirements. Partner with employees and managers on the production floor, represent the facility with government agencies, support corporate HR programs, and supervise an administrative assistant.

Leads Huhtamaki’s global public affairs agenda, focusing on Finnish and EU policymakers, packaging and sustainability regulation, advocacy strategy, policy intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and industry representation. The role translates legislative developments into business implications, develops policy positions, coordinates cross-functional alignment, supports executives, and manages external public affairs advisers.

Supervise production employees and continuous improvement teams while overseeing safety, GMP, quality, throughput, maintenance, scheduling, payroll, and employee performance. The role leads improvement projects, troubleshoots production issues, develops employees, supports positive labor relationships, completes reporting, and communicates across the organization. Work occurs primarily in an office with less than 40% of time in a hot, dusty, noisy manufacturing environment requiring PPE and some travel.
