Oversees partnership and corporate tax compliance, annual financial audits, cost certification audits, and related regulatory submissions across more than 50 entities. Coordinates with CPA firms, syndicators, lenders, and internal development and construction teams. Reviews tax returns and audit packages, manages deadlines and FHFC comment responses, supports new entity setup, maintains documentation, improves workflows, and mentors accounting staff.

Maintains general ledger entries, reconciles accounts, prepares development project financial reports and budget variance analyses, and manages construction loan draw packages. Tracks project costs, reviews invoices, prepares job cost reconciliations, supports audits, and ensures compliance with accounting policies and regulations. Collaborates with project managers, lenders, finance teams, and cross-functional departments. The role focuses primarily on real estate development accounting, particularly low-income housing tax credit projects.

Coordinates finance activities for real estate development projects, including forecasting, budgeting, project accounting, investment due diligence, and equity and debt underwriting support. Prepares reports, assists with special projects, manages construction insurance binders, and communicates with lending and equity institutions. The role works across departments throughout project acquisition and development and requires strong organization, attention to detail, motivation, and communication skills.
