Backend Developer Interns will help build Python and TypeScript/JavaScript APIs, microservices, municipal data ingestion pipelines, and Firestore-backed data systems. They will support Google Cloud Run deployments, API and database security, CI workflows, QA testing, documentation, code reviews, and Git-based development while receiving structured mentorship from executive leadership.

Supports executive operations and event coordination through calendar management, meeting preparation, documentation, communications, venue and vendor research, RSVP tracking, event materials, inventory coordination, and on-site setup. The intern also assists with operational guides, research, follow-up tracking, and community activations across the DMV and NYC regions while receiving weekly mentorship from executive leadership.

Supports public relations, strategic partnerships, grassroots outreach, and brand visibility campaigns. Responsibilities include reviewing brand materials, building electronic press kits and media databases, drafting media and podcast pitches, developing student and alumni partner pipelines, maintaining outreach records, and supporting rental literacy initiatives. The internship includes weekly mentorship and marketing strategy sessions focused on PR, campaigns, events, and community engagement.
