Responsibilities include master planning, capital improvement programming, asset and system evaluations, hydraulic analyses, cost estimates, technical documentation, bidding support, construction administration, and client engagement. The role supports communities throughout the full project lifecycle, from infrastructure needs assessment and funding strategy through design, construction, and closeout.

Designs and analyzes transportation systems for state DOTs, counties, municipalities, and metropolitan planning organizations. Responsibilities include traffic signal, lighting, fiber optic, signing, pavement marking, and traffic control design; traffic operations and impact analyses; signal timing optimization; crash data analysis; intersection safety studies; and supporting business development. Requires a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of traffic engineering experience, and a state Professional Engineer license.
