Develops and expands B2B education partnerships with regional companies and institutions. Engages executives, presents university programs, generates leads, nurtures partner relationships, supports MOA/MOU agreements, monitors industry trends, and reports on partnership performance. The role requires extensive travel, strong communication and presentation skills, client relationship management, and sales capabilities.

Build and manage employer relationships for the College of Science and Engineering, securing internships, jobs, sponsored projects, and long-term partnerships. Lead employer outreach, events, sponsorship development, professional society engagement, and outcome tracking. Collaborate with faculty and career services to improve student career readiness and represent the university within Houston’s engineering, computing, cybersecurity, healthcare technology, and energy communities.

Leads university accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, audits, internal controls, accounts payable, investment and debt accounting, and GAAP compliance. Oversees consolidated financial statements, financial systems including Banner Finance, process improvements, and accounting staff development. Partners across campus to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and system effectiveness.
