Teams at Housing Opportunities Commission

Assists the Controller in managing the Finance Division, including financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, bond and fund accounting, cash management, investments, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, internal controls, and policy updates. Supervises accounting staff, reviews financial records and Yardi data integrity, coordinates governmental financial reporting, supports personnel actions, and resolves complex public-sector accounting and compliance matters.

Provides administrative and technical support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR department. Responsibilities include calendar and office management, filing and records retention, invoices and purchase orders, HR reporting, recruitment and employee engagement support, performance management tracking, intranet updates, communications, and confidential personnel information handling.

Provides front-desk customer service to applicants, residents, property owners, vendors, and stakeholders. Shares information about affordable housing programs, responds to phone, email, and chat inquiries, tracks issues in CRM systems, resolves or escalates concerns, performs data entry, prepares written guidance, and supports call center staff while maintaining a welcoming reception environment.
