Operates the truck scale for incoming and outgoing vehicles, verifies shipment and driver information, records weights, and prepares scale tickets and bills of lading. Maintains accurate records, identifies discrepancies, monitors facility truck traffic, communicates with drivers and staff, answers questions, and follows safety, security, traffic, and documentation procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Oversee plant accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory control, production reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls. Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, payroll accounting, month-end close, and D365 inventory records. Lead and supervise accounting staff while partnering with production, shipping, purchasing, operations, and corporate finance to resolve discrepancies and support accurate financial decision-making.

Oversee site security operations and supervise three daily security guards plus weekend staff. Schedule and direct guards, monitor entrances and iris/eye-scan access, patrol property, respond to incidents, coordinate with HR and Safety, escort personnel as requested, and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Perform accurate shoulder cuts on a poultry processing line, maintain knife handling, sharpening, and sanitation, follow safety and USDA guidelines, meet production goals, and occasionally train or mentor newer team members in a cold, fast-paced environment.

Perform rapid, repetitive hanging of live chickens by the feet onto a moving shackle line while maintaining line speed and adhering to animal welfare policies. Work is physically demanding: standing entire shift, lifting 5–10 lbs repetitively, bending, climbing, and working in hot, wet, noisy conditions while wearing required PPE and following safety and hygiene practices.

Part-time agriculture internship rotating through live departments (hatchery, broilers, breeders, live haul, feed mill). Assist across operations, travel between facilities, work Monday–Friday, and perform duties in varied environmental conditions around chemicals and live animals. Must be a current agriculture student in an internship-required program.

Monitor plant production to ensure product quality and USDA/food-safety compliance. Perform and record quality checks (grading, packaging, temperature, weights), inspect equipment cleanliness, enforce GMP and PPE, monitor associates and report non-compliance, and maintain a safe work environment while performing physically demanding tasks.

Unload incoming trucks and railcars into designated bins using an auto-receiving system; inspect and sample incoming materials per QA/FSMA requirements; rotate stock FIFO; prevent loss/theft; maintain bin levels and housekeeping; complete required paperwork; be trained to operate forklift and shuttle wagon; work assigned shift and assist as needed.
