Summer Financial Analyst will build complex financial models, analyze financial statements and industry conditions, evaluate acquisitions/divestitures and securities, and support preparation of fairness, solvency, and valuation opinions. The role offers exposure to senior staff, client engagements, and firm marketing activities within the Transaction Opinions practice.

Supports live sell-side M&A transactions for private capital firms, including transaction execution, financial modeling, valuations, buyer diligence, CIMs, management presentations, and closing activities. Works directly with Managing Directors and Vice Presidents while advising private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure firms on GP stake transactions. Requires strong communication, ownership, work ethic, and interest in private markets.

Performs financial statement, market, industry, and investment analysis for portfolio valuation engagements. Builds valuation models, including discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses; researches securities and financial data; prepares client deliverables; supports due diligence, client communications, auditor responses, proposals, invoicing, compliance, and marketing activities.
