Teams at Hospital for Special Surgery

Provide general and sport-specific exercise training and fitness testing for clients with varied ages, medical and orthopedic conditions. Work collaboratively in an outpatient clinical setting, perform metabolic testing and gait/movement analysis, participate in community outreach and professional education activities across HSS campus locations.

Perform general facility maintenance and cleaning on night shift: repairs and renovations using power tools, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry; read blueprints, maintain daily logs and work orders, troubleshoot complex plant issues, and support construction/layout planning.

Provide clinical care as a Physician Assistant in an orthopedic practice, delivering patient-facing services and supporting physician workflows. Coordinate managed care activities including physician enrollment, contract assistance, payer issue resolution, and tracking logs. Serve as liaison between physician offices and payors, oversee PHO phone line, schedule and document meetings, and maintain compliance and documentation.
