The Senior Designer at Hook will manage and execute digital design projects, lead storytelling through motion design, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high-quality, innovative delivery on multiple client projects.

Lead brand messaging, direct-response copy, creative concept development, campaign pitching, and client-facing communications for national and global brands. Guide copy through production, collaborate with motion and design teams, maintain brand standards, explore AI tools, mentor junior creatives, and help solve broader creative and process challenges.

Hook is inviting Visual Designers, Motion Designers, Creatives, and Producers to join a freelance community. Submit resume and portfolio; freelancers must operate as a registered business or accept W-2 through staffing partners. Background check (Checkr) required after contract. Typical engagements are ~40 hours per week; placements occur when a mutual fit arises.

Ensure high-quality deliverables, drive creative standards, and mentor teams while translating product UI and features into clear storytelling.

The Associate Design Director will lead visual design projects, mentor staff, foster collaboration, and ensure high-quality client deliverables. Responsibilities include managing complex brand campaigns, maintaining brand systems, and overseeing multiple projects while adhering to client expectations and deadlines.
