Manage the implementation of spent nuclear fuel storage and transportation projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, contract, and technical requirements. Responsibilities include risk mitigation, stakeholder reporting, design review facilitation, approval of engineering documentation and changes, coordination with engineering and operations teams, and preparation of proposals for out-of-scope work. The role requires periodic domestic travel and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, construction, and fuel loading functions.

Procures materials by issuing RFQs, negotiating vendor pricing and terms, preparing and reviewing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, auditing vendors, and maintaining supplier relationships. The role requires purchasing experience in the steel market, strong communication and negotiation skills, budgeting awareness, spreadsheet and word-processing proficiency, and excellent English. Commercial nuclear power procurement experience is preferred.

Develop and maintain SMR-160 nuclear power plant simulator software and models. Perform programming, configuration control, simulation-assisted design, control algorithm development, and integrated plant control logic development. Interface with control platform suppliers and support human-system interface concepts. Apply engineering standards, regulatory guidance, and industry practices while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
