Teams at Holly

Build and own Holly’s data platform, including ingestion and normalization pipelines for messy government data, canonical datasets, semantic search, retrieval, and inference APIs. Design schemas, data-quality systems, lineage, observability, and automated production workflows. Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and other AI capabilities for extraction, classification, matching, and search. Partner with founders and product engineers to make architecture decisions and deliver reliable, scalable data infrastructure.

Own the technical direction and end-to-end operation of Holly’s Data Platform. Build ingestion, ETL/ELT, normalization, canonical data models, semantic search, retrieval, and inference systems for messy government data. Establish AI extraction, classification, matching, evaluation, monitoring, data-quality, lineage, and observability standards. Lead cross-team architecture decisions, partner with founders and Product, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, reliable platform capabilities.

Own technical direction and end-to-end delivery across Holly’s full-stack product. Build production features with TypeScript, React, Postgres, and AI/LLM systems; design data pipelines and data-rich interfaces; establish architecture, reliability, testing, observability, and CI/CD standards; and mentor engineers through cross-team decisions. The role partners closely with founders and requires ownership of customer-facing systems in an early-stage environment.
