Drive new business and manage existing accounts for ocean transportation services. Build client relationships, negotiate contracts and rates, resolve service issues, meet sales KPIs, report market and account performance, pursue overdue payments, and collaborate with pricing and operations teams across Transpacific and Transatlantic trade lanes.

Sells ocean transportation services through outside sales, customer relationship development, new account acquisition, contract and rate negotiation, and account support. Manages service contracts, reviews sales KPIs, reports market activity, pursues past-due accounts, and coordinates with pricing, trade, finance, and inside sales teams. Requires customer-facing sales experience, strong communication and organization, knowledge of sales cycles, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Generates new business through lead follow-up, cold calling, customer research, and phone or email outreach. Maintains customer relationships, sales records, and databases while meeting sales KPIs and quotas. Supports Account Executives, manages rate inquiries and service contracts, coordinates pricing updates, resolves customer issues, and assists with reporting. The role requires strong communication, organization, negotiation, research, problem-solving, and follow-up skills in an office-based shipping and logistics environment.
