Supports financial stewardship, governance, reporting oversight, and control effectiveness for Hiscox European legal entities. Reviews outputs from external finance providers, coordinates board and audit committee deliverables, tracks risks and remediation, supports regulatory and audit interactions, and facilitates communication across local and central finance teams. The role also contributes to process improvements, finance transformation, and operating model changes.

Supports technology transformation investment decisions through financial modelling, change-spend analysis, project forecasting, ROI and benefits tracking. Partners with Finance, Technology, and Transformation stakeholders on business cases, governance, cost optimisation, and prioritisation. Builds cost models, improves cost attribution, validates project spend, and develops reporting and automation. Requires qualified-accountant credentials, FP&A or investment-analysis experience, advanced Excel, and strong analytical communication skills.

Analyze and monitor insurance portfolio exposures, delivering roll-ups, insights, and data quality assurance for underwriting, regulatory, investor, and internal requirements. Improve exposure management methodologies, processes, and automation while collaborating with underwriters, pricing analysts, group teams, and external providers. The role requires strong numerical and analytical ability, coding or data-analysis interest, effective communication, and sound problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
