The Business Analyst gathers and documents requirements, evaluates and improves business processes, translates business needs into technical specifications, and serves as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams. The role supports IT solution implementation, user training, change management, documentation, feedback collection, and process enhancements. Work is conducted onsite within a law enforcement agency and may include emergency or nonstandard hours.

Provides senior leadership for IT operations, infrastructure, enterprise applications, databases, criminal justice systems, and cybersecurity. Manages staff, policies, service standards, complex IT projects, system performance, application administration, custom development, data center infrastructure, continuity planning, and security compliance. Oversees technology evaluations and implementations, audits, cybersecurity awareness, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring reliable service delivery and organizational alignment.

Provide complex civil and criminal legal services for the Sheriff's Office including litigation, contract review, policy and public records advice, forfeiture actions, legislative summaries, and on-call legal consultation. Research and draft legal opinions, assist command staff on novel issues, manage litigation in state and federal courts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency policies.
