Conducts HR research and job analysis to develop job profiles, classifications, compensation ranges, and job descriptions. Evaluates FLSA status, benchmarks salaries, maintains job codes and pay scales, monitors compliance, performs compensation surveys, and advises on classification and salary inquiries. The role also supports HR systems, testing tools, statistical reporting, and long-term HR projects within a law enforcement agency.

Provide complex civil and criminal legal services for the Sheriff's Office including litigation, contract review, policy and public records advice, forfeiture actions, legislative summaries, and on-call legal consultation. Research and draft legal opinions, assist command staff on novel issues, manage litigation in state and federal courts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency policies.

Manage financial administration of publicly funded programs and interlocal contracts: develop policies, prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, lead grant closeouts, prepare SEFA and audit documentation, supervise grant accounting staff, liaise with government representatives, and provide financial analyses and recommendations.
