Provides case management for eligible clients, including assessing needs and eligibility, developing service plans, counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, and coordinating with social service agencies and justice-system professionals. Documents client histories, plans, reports, and service outcomes; evaluates programs; supports training and self-sufficiency initiatives; and compiles data for reporting and budgeting. The role operates within a sheriff’s office and correctional or court environment, with possible travel and nonstandard hours.

Provide complex civil and criminal legal services for the Sheriff's Office including litigation, contract review, policy and public records advice, forfeiture actions, legislative summaries, and on-call legal consultation. Research and draft legal opinions, assist command staff on novel issues, manage litigation in state and federal courts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency policies.

Manage financial administration of publicly funded programs and interlocal contracts: develop policies, prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, lead grant closeouts, prepare SEFA and audit documentation, supervise grant accounting staff, liaise with government representatives, and provide financial analyses and recommendations.
