Leads international upstream oil and gas business development transactions from origination through closing, including acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and farm-ins or farm-outs. Builds senior stakeholder relationships, originates opportunities, develops transaction structures, negotiates commercial terms, coordinates multidisciplinary due diligence, and manages closing activities. Assesses international fiscal, regulatory, political, compliance, and partnership risks while advising senior leadership. Requires international travel and collaboration across technical, legal, financial, tax, regulatory, and external affairs teams.

Leads technical, commercial, and economic evaluations of international upstream oil and gas acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments. Builds integrated cash flow and economic models incorporating production, costs, pricing, taxes, royalties, production-sharing agreements, and contractual terms. Coordinates multidisciplinary diligence, identifies value drivers and sensitivities, supports transaction negotiations, leads reserves booking, and presents investment recommendations to senior management. International travel is required for data rooms, site visits, diligence, and transaction activities.

Reviews complex accounting transactions for US GAAP and FASB compliance; develops accounting policies and procedures; supports revenue recognition, regulatory compliance, SAP PRA configuration, system enhancements, and data management. Partners with operational accounting, IT, SAP support, Finance, Accounting, and Land teams. Provides technical accounting guidance, end-user training, process improvement, project support, reporting, and status updates. Requires substantial upstream oil and gas or consulting experience, advanced accounting systems knowledge, and strong communication skills.
