Seeking a senior software engineer to design and build Java/JEE enterprise applications using Spring, persistence frameworks (EJB/JPA/Hibernate), SOAP/REST web services, messaging (JMS), NoSQL databases, and cloud/distributed processing technologies. Contract position in Chicago requiring strong distributed architecture experience; Hadoop/Spark experience preferred.

Design, implement and manage enterprise PKI and cryptography solutions; lead and coordinate risk and compliance assessments (PCI, HIPAA, SOX); integrate PKI with applications (SSL/TLS, S/MIME, IPsec); manage audits, document processes, create technical solution and project plans, track risks/remediation, and coordinate with architecture, program managers, auditors and stakeholders.

Provide advanced Unix/Linux system administration and operational support for virtualized and physical servers (Solaris and RedHat). Manage capacity, performance, backups, DR testing, VMware virtualization, storage (NAS/SAN, LVM/SVM, ZFS/UFS), patching and boot processes (PXE, Grub, Kickstart). Troubleshoot hardware/software, follow change management, support audits/compliance, and participate in on-call and cross-site team activities.
