Own the architecture, development, deployment, security, and operation of Pelagon’s software platform for autonomous maritime systems. Build data infrastructure, processing and machine-learning workflows, APIs, operational tools, and customer applications. Deploy reliably on self-managed and customer infrastructure without managed cloud dependencies. Establish observability, resilience, cybersecurity, automated delivery, and integration across embedded systems and AI teams while mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions.

Support the full investment cycle, including inbound and outbound sourcing, market research, company analysis, financial modeling, investment memos, deal structuring, and portfolio value creation. Build AI-powered sourcing tools, monitor portfolio KPIs, support founders on strategic projects, and contribute to investment committee decisions. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant finance, investment banking, consulting, or M&A experience, strong SaaS and modeling knowledge, AI fluency, and English and French fluency.

Leads end-to-end hardware, electronics, embedded software, and edge-AI architecture for autonomous maritime platforms. Owns component selection, power and compute systems, sensor and actuator integration, firmware, autopilot systems, reliability, sea trials, vendor decisions, and manufacturing practices. The role optimizes real-time AI inference under severe power constraints while ensuring platforms remain reliable in harsh marine environments.
