Lead Helion’s semiconductor technology roadmap and multidisciplinary team. Direct power semiconductor device design, fabrication, packaging, reliability qualification, and production transfer. Establish development-scale fabrication and testing capabilities, manage external fabrication partnerships, and oversee multi-million-dollar R&D programs. Collaborate across engineering and science functions to optimize device performance, reliability, cost, schedule, and manufacturing scale for fusion power systems.

Design and develop high-efficiency, high-reliability semiconductor components for pulsed power systems in fusion generators. Lead requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, simulation, validation, and rapid development cycles. Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and physics disciplines; work with semiconductor fabricators; analyze performance data; and document designs, specifications, test results, and findings.

Lead and scale the indirect procurement function: hire and manage a procurement team, develop and execute category strategies across software, services, hardware, capex and R&D, run end-to-end sourcing and negotiations (MSAs, SOWs), partner with stakeholders, and improve cost, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience.
