Teams at Helicon

Design and manufacture composite parts at scale, including completing DFM, developing production tooling, testing parts, and improving factory processes toward automation. Collaborate with customers and software engineers to translate manufacturing constraints into Helicon’s supply-chain, quoting, pricing, and simulation platform. The role requires hands-on composite manufacturing experience, particularly with high-volume processes and hydraulic presses.

Own manufacturing operations from line setup through steady-state production. Lead capacity planning, bottleneck management, line balancing, equipment installation, commissioning, process development, and continuous improvement. Drive throughput, yield, quality, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery while collaborating with software engineers to model manufacturing constraints. The role also involves scaling manual processes into automated production, integrating sensors and controls, and building production teams and leadership capability.

Build end-to-end software for Argos, an operating system for materials manufacturing; Argos Sim for CAD automation, design-for-manufacturing, mold generation, and simulation; and factory automation systems integrating equipment and sensor data into digital twins. Work autonomously with hardware engineers to ship high-quality products quickly across software and physical manufacturing environments.
