Teams at Heinen's Grocery Store

Leads grocery, dairy, frozen, and wellness category strategy across merchandising, pricing, promotions, assortment, planograms, supplier partnerships, and private-label growth. Oversees category managers, field merchandisers, and the Wellness Director while driving sales, margin, market share, product availability, and operational improvement. Partners with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to execute business plans and achieve financial goals.

Processes accurate, timely payroll for assigned stores and locations, including complex transactions, employee changes, deductions, third-party sick pay, union billing, and retirement plan activity. Performs payroll reconciliations, general ledger journal entries, audit support, and compliance tasks. Partners with Finance, HR, store leadership, vendors, and retirement-plan providers to resolve issues, maintain confidentiality, improve processes, and meet strict deadlines.

Owns the functionality, configuration, architecture, data integrity, reporting, and ongoing performance of the NetSuite financial platform. Leads General Ledger implementation activities, requirements gathering, testing, UAT, sprint deployments, release and change management, issue resolution, stakeholder training, and vendor coordination. Serves as the primary Finance liaison to IT and supports financial reporting, dashboards, system updates, integrations, and continuous process improvement.
