Designs, develops, tests, and supports embedded electronic instrumentation for the natural gas utility industry. Responsibilities include circuit and PCB design, embedded firmware, simulations, prototype evaluation, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer, troubleshooting, compliance, and sustaining engineering. Collaborates with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, suppliers, and product management teams. Provides technical leadership, mentors junior personnel, and supports products throughout the development lifecycle. The role is hands-on and office-based in Houston, with occasional outdoor customer work and up to 20% U.S. travel.

Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across Azure, hybrid, and on-prem environments. Manage IAM, RBAC, PIM, and CI/CD security; monitor posture with Sentinel and Defender; run vulnerability and risk assessments; support incident response and remediation; enforce policies aligned to NIST, SOC 2, and CIS; drive data protection.

Partner with business, finance, IT, and project teams to analyze processes and financial data, build models, support budgeting/forecasting, produce KPI reporting and dashboards, identify improvement opportunities, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations to support leadership decision-making.

Owns the end-to-end lifecycle and roadmap for hardware products, from market discovery through post-launch optimization. Translates customer, market, and regulatory needs into product requirements, partners with engineering through development and validation, and leads pricing, positioning, launches, and customer engagements. Builds investment business cases, monitors product KPIs, conducts competitive analysis, and champions customer-focused, safe, reliable solutions for the utility industry.

Design, prototype, test, and document electromechanical methane-detection products using 3D CAD and additive manufacturing. Develop test methods, fixtures, and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and customers to verify product performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and train operators/technicians.

Lead cross-functional New Product Development projects from concept through commercialization. Develop and execute schedules, budgets, and resource plans; coordinate engineering, testing, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing; manage risks, run design reviews and milestone meetings, and communicate status to leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality product launches.

Lead continuous improvement for Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS). Drive audits, CAPA, root-cause analysis, KPI management, training effectiveness, and embed standard work across field operations to improve safety, quality, and operational performance.
