Teams at Hearst

Produce daily local sports content by shooting, writing, and editing packages, vertical videos and live reports. Cover high school and local college sports, maintain photography and broadcast gear, build relationships with local teams, fill-in as sports anchor, and work nights/weekends in an in-person, deadline-driven newsroom.

Plan, write, and time live local newscasts; coordinate reporters, anchors, meteorologists and production staff; own breaking news and weather coverage; collaborate with digital and assignment teams to ensure consistent, accurate storytelling.

Develop and produce original, platform-first video formats for Hearst UK brands. Lead ideation, pitch development, production (studio and location) and post-production, working with celebrity talent and editors to optimize storytelling, thumbnails and titles. Use audience insight and performance data to iterate and grow YouTube and social audiences.
